Plus Bus - Getting the Community from A to B

Plus Bus is a shopping service in Dunedin City and operates with a fantastic group of volunteers, some of whom have been with the service for many years. All give a huge contribution, working on and off the van, and are always willing to go the extra mile for a client if help is needed.

Clients appreciate the reliability, independence, and safety that using the bus gives them. This can include stopping at the pharmacy, postbox, or even the Lilliput Library. If there are gaps in the roster, there is always someone willing and able to step in. Volunteers are even willing to give extra time to clean the van. Some have also taken to light gardening when a client has needed help to prune those prickly roses.
