Robbie Finlayson - A Legacy of Aroha

Robbie Finlayson has given her time, aroha, energy, and unfailing faith to Kidzway, volunteering her expertise and hours of work from the time it opened in April 2008 to the present day. She not only helped fundraise to open Kidzway in the beginning—bringing quality care to a small community in rural West Otago—but has also overseen, as a member of the trust, a core staff of committed teachers (who have all been there for years) because of the care and aroha she has entrusted into the centre.

The times she has come down to even do menial jobs (right now she is sanding and painting all the tired picnic tables!) are too numerous to mention. In a small community, this type of person who dedicates over twenty years to a cause should be applauded.
