Some volunteers quietly go above and beyond — and today we want to celebrate one of our own.
At just 17 years old, Laura is an amazing volunteer that shows up every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a smile that lights up the foodbank. She is always happy to help, always ready to jump in, and never turns away from a task—no matter how big or small.
What truly sets her apart is her attitude. She brings positivity into every space she enters, lifts the spirits of those around her, and somehow even makes end-of-day jobs joyful. (Yes, she genuinely enjoys mopping the floors — and does it with pride and a grin!)
Her willingness, kindness, and consistent commitment remind us that volunteering isn’t about age — it’s about heart. We are so grateful for the energy and warmth she brings to our team and the difference she makes for our community.
Thank you for being such a bright light. We are lucky to have you. 💛
