Wakari School

In 2013, a group of parents got together and formed a school garden.  We now have four vegetable beds, a compost heap, and water supply.  The children have learnt to plant, harvest their own veggies. They reuse the waste produced by the garden and appreciate the important role water and weather has in growing their own food.
