Friends of the Dunedin Botanic Garden
The aim of the Friends of the Dunedin Botanic Garden is to foster interest in the Dunedin Botanic Garden, to promote the development of the Garden, to raise funds for approved purposes, and to preserve the integrity of the Garden. The Friends of the Dunedin Botanic Garden are responsible for staffing the Information Centre and shop at the Garden which is run entirely by volunteers with some back-up assistance from the DCC appointed Botanic Garden Rangers.

The Information Centre at Dunedin Botanic Garden is the first contact for visitors seeking to get the most from their visit; as such volunteers are considered to be 'the face of the Garden'.
