Looking to meet new people, make a difference in your community, or find a fulfilling way to spend your time?

This special event is part of the Gore District Council’s Ready for Living Project and is designed to connect you with local volunteer organisations looking for people just like YOU.

You will be able to chat with a wide range of community groups – from animal welfare and heritage preservation to emergency response, community support, neighbourhood safety, and more.

Sue O’Brien, our Volunteer South Southland Community Connector, will also be there – ready to chat, offer support, and help you explore how your skills and life experience can make a real difference.

Aimed at 65+, but everyone is welcome! Whether you're ready to sign up or just curious to learn more, this is a relaxed and welcoming space to explore your options.
