Table Talks are designed for not-for-profits to explore, problem solve and connect in a supportive environment. Community Governance Aotearoa bring in guest facilitators to explore relevant topics for our community.
Caren Rangi, a Governance Practitioner with current roles including Pro-Chancellor at Massey University and Director at New Zealand Rugby, and Alison Taylor who has been a Chief Executive of a number of not-for-profit entities and held a number of philanthropic and community governance roles. Caren and Alison are our guest facilitators under their shared initiative ‘Enabling Leadership, and will explore a key dynamic for many community organisations: the Chair and CEO shared relationship.
As part of the Table Talk series, Caren and Alison will lead a panel conversation alongside a Chair-CEO pairing (to be announced). Using the principles of the Good Governance Code, they’ll explore how these can be practically applied to strengthen the Chair-CEO relationship and is critical to board performance.
