SuperGrans Mentor

We need volunteers to help with

• one on one clients (at the clients home)
• for helping with Group workshops at SuperGrans Place.
  One on One - Dunedin wide
  Workshops - generally at SuperGrans Place in South City Mall - 132 Hillside Road, South Dunedin but make be at other location from time to time.
  No training needed. Volunteers are supported by Manager as needed.
  Volunteers will be interviewed and will need to provide two personal referees for a verbal character check. Police vetting will also be undertaken. Mileage will be reimbursed as required.
  Skills that can be gained: contribution to the community, personal satisfaction, social Connections

Requirements

A willingness to help others.
An interest in Cooking, Knitting, Sewing, Gardening, Household management etc (any one or more)
An ability to get on with people of different backgrounds
Non-judgmental
There is no age limit to being a SuperGran (you don't need to be a grandparent).
We welcome male volunteers!

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Time commitment is flexible. You can do as much or as little as you want.
One on One clients can take 1 - 2 hours a week.
Group work will vary depending on your interests.
