Leaders for Keas, Cubs, Scouts

Scouting New Zealand provides a programme to follow. Scouts concentrate in sailing and boating activities in summer months. Cubs sometimes join scouts for boating.

Requirements

Relate well with children and adults.

For all groups: knowledge of camping and outdoors an advantage
For Scouts: knowledge of sailing an advantage

On-going training from Scouting NZ

Regular meetings with other leaders are provided

Volunteers are required:
to undergo a Police vetting check
to provide two referees

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Mondays and Thursdays – afternoons and evenings
