Advocacy Officer

Implement the Fair Trade Communities program in NZ
Strengthen fair trade stakeholder relationships
Co-ordinate and facilitate fair trade activities and
provide information to fair trade supporters and network groups
Assist with New Zealand membership management processes
Other duties including administrative support as required

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to work creatively and collaboratively both independently and as a member of a team, using a high degree of initiative
Effective presentation skills and interpersonal skills
Effective self-management skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work in a virtual team environment
Competence in Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated commitment to social justice and/or sustainability issues

Initial induction training followed by regular supervision and support sessions.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Monday to Wednesday, mornings and afternoons
