Putting brochures in doctors surgeries, for example and various small activities that help to make Hearing Support Otago more well known and effective in the community. Helping organise street collections for Hearing Awareness Week.

Requirements

Good life skills and ability to get on with the task and being a team player.
Enthusiasm and energy.

2 Playfair Street, Caversham, Dunedin.

Potential volunteers are interviewed.

Referee requirements: previous and current employer and any other volunteer organisations previously or currently involved with.

Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. Extraordinary costs, if previously approved.

Time commitment

2 or more hours a month.

Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break. During this time your requests to connect will go through, however there may be some delay in you hearing from the organisations you select.
