Social Group Supporter

Wakatipu Senior Citizens Assoc. brings together men and women over 60 to provide companionship and friendship. They have a weekly Friday lunch followed by a speaker, entertainment or activity and monthly Wednesday outings. Their bright sunny rooms are open for members to call in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a cuppa, game of pool or monthly card making sessions. Pre-covid we showed movies on our big screen on a Wednesday and this is something we are keen to rekindle. WSCA has a 12 seater mini van used to bring people to the rooms for Friday lunch, monthly outings and possibly Wednesday activities once up and running again.
