At Dunedin Curtain Bank, we collect, repair and reline donated curtains to provide to those in need including families, elderly and disabled.

We are looking for volunteers to help us sew and alter curtains that have been donated to our service.
Main sewing tasks include altering/hemming and lining.
Sewing items for our Dunedin Curtain Bank Enviroshop.

Requirements

Experience with a commercial sewing machine would be great but there are also domestic sewing machines available

A current vaccination pass is required to volunteer with Curtain Bank.

Time commitment

We are open Mon - Thursday 9am - 4.00pm
Minimum commitment - one morning/afternoon per week, but we can be flexible around this.
