Club Enliven takes place three times a week. 9:45am – 3:30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, Volunteers can assist for a whole session or part day 9:45am – 12:45pm OR 12:30pm – 3:30pm.

Social engagement and meaningful activity are essential to a healthy, happy life, no matter what your age. Club Enliven is for people over 65 years and offers a range of social activities including discussions, presentations from guest speakers, singing and music, craft, outings, cooking and meals.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with activities for the day. Assisting with the preparation and service of morning and afternoon tea and delivery of lunch (already plated). Volunteers are also occasionally called upon to assist with clients as required, and generally ensuring clients are comfortable as directed by the coordinator.

We hope volunteers will enjoy enabling older people to live an active and social life. They will have the opportunity to engage with older people and develop new friendships with members and other volunteers.

Requirements

Volunteers should have a natural interest in older people, have patience, a caring and respectful attitude and be happy working as part of a team.

A Police background check is required for this role.
