Dunedin Curtain Bank up-cycles unwanted and unused curtains, lines them, and distributes them to those in need in our community. Curtains make a significant difference to the warmth of a home. A third of all heat loss in an uninsulated home occurs through windows. At Dunedin Curtain Bank they collect, repair and reline donated curtains to those in need, including families, elderly and disabled.

As a Reception Superstar you will be:

  • Working in the reception area
  • Meeting and greeting customers and clients
  • Helping to answer the main telephone line
  • Asking questions to find the right person to support

Training and Support provided:

  • DCB will give full support and training for this position, and there will always be someone on hand to provide support in this role

Requirements

  • Friendly and empathetic personality
  • A desire to help people
  • A desire to learn from those around you
  • Able to take instructions but also work independently
  • Some computer/admin experience would be great - especially with Gmail/GDrive and spreadsheets

Time commitment

  • Availability on Mon, Tue or Wed between 10am - 2.00pm
