Op Shop Volunteer

Do you have a passion for fashion? Interested in a recycle revival? Do you care about community and want to get involved and meet others from Mosgiel?

Retail assistants are needed to support the op shop in the work they're doing - work that has an impact on the wider community. If you're wanting to get some retail experience or make new friends, this friendly store should be your first stop!

Tasks will include:

• Selling second-hand goods with a first class service by treating all customers in a friendly welcoming manner
• Maintain the image of the retail shop by helping to keep the shop tidy
• Cash handling and EFTPOS responsibility
• Hang, fold and sort garments/items
• Pricing of goods as per guidelines
• Restock racks and shelves as required with stock that has been priced
• Sorting of various incoming stock
• Merchandising of the stores colour co-ordination and displays

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

The store is open from Monday - Friday from 10am-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-12pm.

Hours of work are by arrangement with the manager.
