Com2Tech Youth Development Volunteer

Youth Digitech Studio This programme is an opportunity to add to school technology learning. Utilising tools such as Godot, Unity and Blender extending Youth skills into real word programmes this with projects and learning opportunities.

We also have Minecraft clubs running in Libraries after school in Port Chalmers and Mosgiel, giving youth a chance to step out of their bedrooms and play together face to face. Meeting new people and developing new friendships based on a shared love of Minecraft. We used Minecraft Education, so they can delve into some coding tasks if they wish.

Requirements

Experience with Minecraft Education,
Unity, Blender, Godot, Python, PixelArt

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

2 hours weekly during school term time, times and locations vary so please enquire when applying.
