We are open to having a conversation about what this position will look like and it will be different for each volunteer. Things that we are thinking about but not limited to are:
reading to residents, going on van rides with our diversional therapist and residents, talking, creating a newsletter, gardening, baking, painting, art, inside exercise appropriate to the elderly, generally having fun!
The role in a nut shell is to create special times for our residents. Getting to know this beautiful bunch of people is so rewarding.
