Hospice Southland philosophy affirms life and offers dignity and hope. Hospice Southland provides specialist palliative care to those with life-limiting illness in Southland and the Wakatipu Basin, free of charge and ideally in their setting of choice.
Hospice Southland provides a six bed in-patient Unit, but also cares for around 120 patients in the community at any one given time.
Hospice and palliative care focuses on quality of life, responding to each patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Family life is deeply affected when a loved one has a life-limiting illness, support for families is also an intrinsic part of hospice care.

Requirements

Kitchen and Cooking abilities

A Police background check is required for this role.
