Hospice philosophy affirms life and offers dignity and hope. Specialist Palliative Care Service. Our vision is everyone living in Southland and the Wakatipu Basin has access to the highest quality palliative care.
Hospice Southland provide a six bed In-Patient Unit, but also cares for around 12 patients in the community at any given time. Hospice and palliative care focuses on quality of life, responding to each patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Family life is deeply affected when a loved one has a life-limiting illness, support for families is also an intrinsic part of hospice care.

Requirements

  • Enjoy meeting new people
  • Front of shop skills, e.g. serving customers at the till
  • Good communication skills
  • Unpacking and cleaning donated items
  • Sorting clothes on racks
  • Deliveries and pick up of items

A Police background check is required for this role.
