Hospice Southland's Hospice Shop in (based in Invercargil) is one of seven shops in Southland and the Wakatipu region. Hospice Shops are a treasure trove of donated items which help them to fulfil their motto of 'Sustainable Shopping for Sustainable Care'. Hospice Southland provides Specialist Palliative Care Service and their philosophy affirms life and offers dignity and hope.
Funds generated from Hospice Shop sales are used to run a six bed In-Patient Unit, that cares for around 120 patients. Hospice's palliative care focuses on ensuring quality of life by responding to each patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met. Family life is also deeply affected when a loved one has a life-limiting illness, so support for families is an intrinsic part of Hospice care.

Please be patient and if you have not heard back from them by mid January email them directly and give them a nudge. Thank you and have a wonderful holiday season and summer.
