Plunket is a charity and Aotearoa’s largest support service for the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whānau. They offer free health and development checks, a 24/7 parenting helpline, and a range of local services.
Plunket has many Families in our community who require a little additional support - this could be helping parents preparing meals, interacting and engaging with children, attending appointments with the family or simply being a supportive listening ear. Their GPS (Giving People Support) families all have at least one child under the age of 5. Some of the mums are post-caesarean or mums of multiple births. These mums may require a little extra support while they adjust.
