Hours:

CanInspire Charitable Trust believes in the power of creativity to uplift and inspire others. CanBead runs jewellery making and beading workshops that offer a therapeutic outlet, bringing hope and joy to those experiencing illness, trauma, or loss. The workshops allow participants to engage with others going through similar challenges, and provide a fun distraction while being creative and expressive. The workshops are offered free of charge and are run in conjunction with other charities who act as host agencies.

Their organisation relies on volunteers, from sewing kit bags which are given to workshop participants, breaking up donated jewellery, to assisting at workshops and running fundraising events. Each year they have a fundraising target, and to ensure they can meet demand they run multiple events including Bosses Can Bead, a very successful mystery handbag auction in May 2024, and jewellery-making classes. Their next big event is ‘It Came From a Closet’ on 18 May 2024.

As a CanBead Fundraiser you will be:
