The Plunket Society is a non-profit national organisation whose people are passionately committed to the well-being of children and their families. Plunket support families to ensure children reach their full potential in the first 5 years of life. Services available include parenting advice and support, child health promotion and health education.
Wakatipu Plunket are looking for new volunteers to join their Arrowtown team and support their existing Ministry of Education Playgroup. This Group is currently run on a Monday morning from 10.30am-12.30pm at the Arrowtown Plunket Rooms.
As a facilitator you will be able to tap into your creative side and plan activities for our Playgroup aimed at children 4 years & under, welcome new families to Playgroup and help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment in this sole directed role.
There is the ability to have more than one person in this role and work together or alternating weeks.
Friendly & approachable. Experience with your children is preferred but not necessary. Full training and support will be given.
Succesful applicants will undergo a police check.
A Police background check is required for this role.

Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break.
