The Plunket Society is a non-profit national organisation whose people are passionately committed to the well-being of children and their families. Plunket support families to ensure children reach their full potential in the first 5 years of life. Services available include parenting advice and support, child health promotion and health education. Your work would assist us with keeping the facility safe and beautiful!

You can sign up online and track you volunteer hours and tasks (optional). There is an induction process to introduce you to the property and to find out what task you would be best suited to.
You are someone that is motivated to help out to keep our rooms a welcoming, clean and tidy place for families to visit. Specialist skills may be required for specific repairs or maintenance and this can be discussed.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
This can be flexible. Can be one off, weekly or fortnightly based on your availabililty. The rooms are open every weekday but repairs may be (and may need to be) carried out when the rooms are closed to the public.
