Grow Wānaka is a circular model community garden project working towards a more food secure, resilient and waste free community, while providing education, and community connection through collective growing, learning and sharing of ideas, knowledge and skills.
They are seeking a new chairperson to provide governance and strategic oversight to the project. The role will involve:
You will be supported in the role by their passionate team including the long standing committee and garden project coordinator as well as former chairperson. Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break.
