Squash Otago leads and grows the sport of squash in the region. The organisation supports clubs, players, and communities by providing effective governance, financial sustainability, and player development opportunities. A volunteer Treasurer is invited to join the Board and oversee financial management and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee financial records
- Prepare and present financial reports for Board meetings
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Manage payments and reconciliations using MYOB and online banking
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
- Attend monthly Board meetings and the annual AGM

Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
- Honest, reliable, financially literate
- Experienced with MYOB & Xero and general accounting principles
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

- 2–8 hours per month
- Commitment: Ideally 1+ years
