The Dunedin Gasworks Museum is a volunteer-run industrial heritage museum in South Dunedin, housing a collection of steam engines, gas appliances, and engineering equipment from New Zealand’s gasmaking past.
They are building an online catalogue to share this unique and historically significant collection with the world, and are seeking someone to take clear, well-composed photos of some of their larger collection items.
Additionally, a small set of high-quality images of the two venues, both interior and exterior, is needed to help promote the spaces for hire for events, workshops, and community gatherings.
Perfect for someone passionate about storytelling and heritage photography.
This role is important because it helps preserve and share local heritage, making the museum’s stories accessible to a wider audience and supporting community engagement.
