Whānau Āwhina Plunket is a charity and Aotearoa’s largest support service for the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whānau. Everything they do is to support Kiwi whānau and their tamariki to thrive, including nurse visits, advice, parent groups, education courses, playgroups, and community activities.
Upper Clutha Plunket is providing a family friendly space for the Wānaka Pride Street Party and would love some volunteers to help during the event as well as for set up and pack down. The gazebo will have high chairs, toys, breastfeeding chairs/pillows, and a colouring area.

Any funds raised at the event are directly fed back into the organisation, enabling services to continue within the community. You will be given a quick training when you arrive. Parent volunteers are welcome to bring their own children along as well.
