Funds raised through the Street Appeal help bridge a vital funding shortfall, allowing Anglican Family Care to continue their essential work across Otago. Every donation supports whānau and social workers who walk alongside families, helping to build resilience and brighter futures for tamariki and their whānau. The appeal also gives Anglican Family Care the chance to connect with the community and raise awareness of the services they provide.

This role is great for collecting with a friend/family member, in Dunedin Central or Dunedin South.

What's involved:

  • Collect donations with another person at a local site
  • Smile, greet, and engage kindly with the public
  • Two-hour shifts available between 9am and 1.30pm on Friday 28 November

What you’ll gain:

  • The satisfaction of helping Otago families thrive.
  • The knowledge that you are assisting Anglican Family Care to continue to provide its valued community services.
  • A chance to connect with others in your community
  • A simple, fun way to make a real difference in just two hours

As a social services provider, Anglican Family Care has served the Otago community since 1970 with high-quality interventions and therapeutic support. Their main focus is to support vulnerable tamariki and rangatahi and their whānau. They work alongside Otago whānau to make positive change that inspires hope for a better future.

Thanks for donating your time to help us support vulnerable whānau, living in Otago.
