The Valley Project is a community-led initiative dedicated to fostering an inclusive, connected, and thriving neighbourhood across North East Valley, Opoho, and Pine Hill. Its mission is to mobilise the community’s strength and resources into locally led action, raising awareness, strengthening community ties, and creating opportunities for people to connect, belong, and take positive action together. Operating from North East Valley, they offer programs and services such as community dinners, food box initiatives, newsletters, environmental projects, and accessible spaces for local activities. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting events, programs, and initiatives, helping to build a welcoming and vibrant community where everyone’s voice can be heard and meaningful change can happen.
