Dog Rescue Dunedin (DRD) is looking for volunteers to pick up stall gear from the storage facility and setup at a specified venue for their fundraising stalls

Requirements

  • Driver licence
  • Suitable size vehicle such as a station wagon or a largish hatchback with foldable seats
  • The stall gear is stored at a location in Wakari.
  • Fundraising venues are held at various premises throughout Dunedin like supermarkets, stores, warehouses and malls.

Tidy casual attire

An experienced volunteer would show what stall gear to pick up and how to set it up at the venue.

  • Interview and police vetting is required if have previous convictions
  • Volunteers to share a good character reference
  • Reimbursement of 77c/km for DRD related travel
  • Volunteers need to be able to lift some heavy items like folded trestle table with handle, a large display board with easel and 2 large storage bins

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Few hours a month
Saturday and Sunday (Mornings – Afternoons)

Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break.
