Blind Low Vision NZ is looking for drivers with access to their own vehicles to help support our blind and low vision members attend social and recreational events in your town.
Do you have a car, driver licence, and a little time to spare? Help older people get to their local social club to enjoy activities including discussions, presentations from guest speakers, singing and music, craft, outings, cooking and meals.
Reliable and personable driving volunteers are required to drive individuals with low vision to their appointments.
Do you really like people and driving? Combine both by transporting people from Cromwell, Alexandra and Queenstown to hospital appointments.
Volunteer transport assistants are required to pick up from and deliver second hand goods to a variety of customers.
We are looking for local Mosgiel people to driver our meals at lunch times between 12 noon and 1pm. We have a pickup/ drop off site for meals at in Mosgiel. Meal run takes between 30 – 40 minutes.
Help members of the local community unable to drive to get to medical or financial appointments, or to the shops to get their essentials.
Volunteers are needed to join the Meals on Wheels team in Alexandra and surrounds to provide a mid-day meal for those persons (because of age, illness or disability) who need it.
Provide an efficient safe driving transport service for Cancer Society clients to appointments
