Planting veggies, weeding, planting vegetables and herbs, preparing and sowing seeds, tending to seedlings, plant propagating, maintaining seed collections.

Requirements

Willing to get hands dirty
Ability to work manually
Respectful and with friendly manner to others

Volunteer must respect our Kaupapa, neighbours & other workers on the site whether paid or not. Must respect tools and work in a safe manner.

Dress Code: Safe footwear appropriate for tasks being undertaken and clothes suitable to be made dirty

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

Negotiable to suit volunteer – the garden’s always there!
