Patrol Member

Patrollers work in pairs. They are independent from Police but work alongside with police as extra “eyes and ears” to assist in building a safer community. They must be competent drivers, capable of working until 1 or 2 am on patrol nights.


  • Good observation skills and taking notes.
  • Sense of community safety.
  • Ability to work with other volunteers as scheduled on the roster.

North Dunedin

Comfortable, warm dress, high visibility jacket  provided

CPNZ training locally. Opportunity to attend national Training Seminars

Clean drivers’ licence, Good health.

Police vetting check required.
Two personal/ professional  referees required.

A Police background check is required for this role.
