The volunteers would attend on those days/times that our Cable Car Building is open to the public, and would assist the Lead Volunteer from our Society. The role is to welcome visitors, to show them the cable cars we have on site, to invite them on board the cable car trailer, and to explain to visitors our aim to bring the cable cars back into service. Those of mechanical bent could explain the workings of the cable cars to interested visitors.
Friendly personality, to deal with the public.
An informed intelligence, and a willingness to learn about the cable car history Mechanical knowledge an advantage, but not necessary.
