An opportunity exists for a suitable individual to lead and coordinate policy submissions and events on behalf of OSOF by:
Identifying current and upcoming local and central government policy consultations for public submissions.
Write policy submissions on consultations identified to be relevant to OSOF
Recruitment and Management of Policy team
Develop professional relationships with external contacts
Organising OSOF events
Represent OSOF in a professional manner.
A passion for environmental conservation, science and law.
Tertiary qualification preferred.
Ability to work in a professional manner and prioritise workflow.
Able to use initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
Enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to problem solve.
Meetings from home or at various agreed locations as required
