Responsibilities include using the cash register for retail activity, assisting visitors with information and making up bags of duck food and giving them out.

Requirements

  • Competency with cash handling
  • Ability to relate to all ages
  • Good initiative and work ethic
  • Confidence working alone if necessary (only after training and mentoring from an experienced volunteer).

The day is broken into two rosters of 3 hours each - 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Volunteers can work a set day each week or fortnight, or whatever suits. Flexibility for both parties is encouraged.
