The Gasworks Market is a new Community Market, supported by Dream South D Trust, and is based at the Gasworks Museum in South Dunedin. The market values are: Community, Sustainability and Resilience, with a focus on providing space for local growers and crafters to sell their wares. Furthermore, the market provides opportunities for Community Groups to fundraise and has future plans to introduce a free Repair Café. There has been significant interest from the community, with attendance from the first three markets totalling almost two thousand people.
The market has been supported thus far by a collaboration with other community groups and is now in need of Committee Members to help drive the market forward.

Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break. During this time your requests to connect will go through, however there may be some delay in you hearing from the organisations you select. Please be patient and if you have not heard back from them by mid January email them directly and give them a nudge. Thank you and have a wonderful holiday season and summer.
