Life Education Trust Coastal Otago is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support its first-ever street appeal on Friday, 21 June. This one-day event aims to raise vital funds for the health and well-being education delivered to tamariki across the region. And and they would love you to be part of it.

Street Collectors will be based at collection sites around Dunedin, encouraging donations from the public and helping raise awareness of Life Education’s mahi in local schools.

Key Tasks:

  • Stand at a designated site for a 1–2 hour shift
  • Greet the public and encourage donations
  • Shake a collection bucket and distribute stickers or flyers
  • Represent Life Education Trust with positivity and enthusiasm

Their work directly supports schools in tackling these challenges — but they can’t do it alone. Life Education Trust Coastal Otago is looking for volunteers to collect donations at locations across Dunedin. Whether someone has an hour or a whole morning to spare, their time will directly support the Trust’s mahi in local schools.

To continue delivering its education programme throughout Dunedin, Oamaru, the Waitaki Valley, and surrounding areas, Life Education Trust Coastal Otago is launching a fundraising drive in June. The Trust invites the community to come along, meet Harold, and support this valuable resource for Coastal Otago schools. Every contribution helps ensure that Harold can continue making a difference for tamariki across the region.
