Van Driver

Salvation Army Community Ministries provide a range of services with the aim to give a helping hand so people are not dependent on government assistance and can gain a greater level of control over their life.

CAMEO (Come and meet each other) is a place for people to relax, enjoy good company and take part in activities or their own project. Held at the Salvation Army Church on a Tuesday 10am-1pm, free morning tea and lunch are also provided.

Free transport is provided for those who need support to get to CAMEO. A van driver is needed to pick up and drop off clients. The driver is also more than welcome to stay for CAMEO and enjoy a free lunch.

Requirements

  • Full and clean Drivers Licence
  • Friendly
  • Knowledge of Invercargill helpful

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment

  • Tuesdays, pick up 9.15-10am and drop off 12.30-1.15pm.
