Trap Installation Administrator

Aroha Kaikorai Valley is a community group focused on looking after their backyard. You will get to be a part of a movement bringing about massive change.

Your role will be responding to queries from residents about hosing predator traps and making appointments with volunteer trap installers to get the traps on the ground. Your work will result in trappers having the right information to do the job. You will gain experience in using predator management tools such as trap.nz.

Requirements

Ideally you are someone who:

• Is proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office
• Has good time management skills
• Can write a great email
• Is interested in conservation and the environment
• Enjoys problem solving and process.

Time commitment

• 6 hours per week, spread over two or three mornings at the office.
• You need to be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months or more as this is a crucial role.
