Wild Dunedin Pitch Choir Event Crew

Ōtepoti Mohoao Wild Dunedin, NZ Festival of Nature showcases all that makes Ōtepoti Dunedin the wildlife capital of New Zealand.

Pitch Choir at Forsyth Barr Stadium is a lively and interactive event that invites the audience to be part of the performance. The evening begins with a fun, large-scale sing-along, creating a shared musical experience before transitioning into a concert featuring Don McGlashan.

Alongside the entertainment, a range of food trucks will be on site, adding to the festive atmosphere and giving attendees the chance to enjoy great food while soaking up the music and community spirit.

Volunteers are needed to help set up during the day as well as check tickets during the event and pack down after the event.

• Set up: 11am - 1pm
• Entrance Gate Attendant: 6pm - 10pm
• Pack Down: 10pm - 11.30pm

An induction and Health and Safety email will be sent out to volunteers and a full briefing given before your shift.

Requirements

• Friendly, reliable, and energetic, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both performers and attendees.
• A can-do attitude is key, along with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Minimum age is 18 years.
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and willing to assist with moving or carrying equipment as required.
• Enthusiasm, teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Strong communication skills are helpful, especially when coordinating with other volunteers or event staff.
• No specific experience is required — this role is open to anyone with a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved.
• However, previous experience in events, hospitality, or manual handling is a bonus but not essential.

• Pack Down: 10pm - 11.30pm
