Alexandra Community Advice Network
"Helping People to Help Themselves" The Alexandra Community Advice Network (ACAN) provides a free, confidential referral information and advice service in the Community House in Alexandra. ACAN run a free JP and legal clinic and also co-ordinate the delivery roster and distribution of Meals on Wheels for Alexandra and Clyde.

Are you a confident driver with time on their hands? Help members of the community in Alexandra and Clyde gain some independence again by joining ACAN's volunteer driving service!
Community Advice Volunteer
ACAN trains volunteers to give advice and local information to people in the Alexandra community. The organisation aims to ensure that individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their rights and responsibilities or of services available to them.
Meals on Wheels Driver
Volunteers are needed to join the Meals on Wheels team in Alexandra and surrounds to provide a mid-day meal for those persons (because of age, illness or disability) who need it.
