ACAN trains volunteers to give advice and local information to people in the Alexandra community. The organisation aims to ensure that individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their rights and responsibilities or of services available to them.

Volunteers are needed to join the Meals on Wheels team in Alexandra and surrounds to provide a mid-day meal for those persons (because of age, illness or disability) who need it.
