Bainfield Gardens aims to provide an environment where people with mental health issues can come to a place where the environment itself creates healing. This will be done through teaching people work base skills in a gardening environment which has a Christian Culture of encouragement and love towards each other thus giving back to the community and enjoyment into the clients lives so that they will be able to transition back into the fullness of life. Volunteers are sought to help in areas such as working in the garden, encouraging people with the planning and cultivating and keeping the garden tidy. Volunteers will also develop their own gardening skills and enjoy seeing the fruits of their labour grow and be shared amongst the community. This includes guidance in such tasks as: * Taking the lead * Designating tasks (depending on your skill level) * Working alongside the Site Manager * Gardening skills * Life skills
Bainfield Gardens are looking for volunteers who have a selection of diverse life skills that would enable them to work alongside our clients who struggle with Mental Health issues.
