Koru Care Otago

Formed in 1988, Koru Care Otago is a Charitable Trust made up of Otago residents who fundraise to take children with a disability or a life long illness on a trip of a lifetime. This trip helps promote confidence and Independence in the young person and a short break for their family. Koru Care Otago provides airfares, accommodation, meals, Theme Park visits, medical care and 24 hour volunteer caregivers for a group of up to 12 children over the age of 12 yrs. A child's smile can turn any bad day upside down. They are committed to those smiles, changing tomorrow by helping who ever they can today. Koru Care Otago is reliant on help from the community to raise the funds needed to make children's dreams come true.
