The Gallagher Insurance Challenge Wānaka is gearing up for an exciting festival with the main event taking place on Saturday 15th February. They are calling on wonderful individuals to join the amazing Southern Land volunteer crew and be a vital part of this inspiring event.
They have a diverse range of events to support, the festival kicks off on Thursday, 13th February with the Puzzling World Junior Challenge, on Friday the Intermediate Challenge plus Mitre 10 Secondary Schools, and Adaptive events take place. The main event, the Gallagher Insurance Challenge Wānaka Half takes place on Saturday at Pembroke Park.
Volunteer roles are as diverse as our events, spanning from motorbike marshals to safety kayakers to aid station helpers. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or it's your first time, there's a place for you. Volunteers are the heartbeat of this charitable trust, contributing to the event’s success. As a thank you, they offer food, drinks, and a fantastic thank-you party.
