Whakatipu Reforestation Trust works with our local community to grow and plant native trees & shrubs on public land around Queenstown. Since 2015, our volunteers have planted over 129,000 native trees in the Whakatipu Basin, with another 5,500 ready for planting this Spring!
All holes will be pre-dug making tree planting easy and fun! Volunteers will be given training on the whole planting process- so no prior experience is required.

Yummy morning tea is provided on the day. This is an excellent opportunity to take a break, refill your water bottle, and chat with fellow volunteers.
This is a great opportunity to meet other locals, learn about native plants and to contribute in a meaningful way to our unique environment.
