The Whakatipu Reforestation Trust's mission is to grow native plants at its Jean Malpas Community Nursery and to use these plants to plant in public areas to enhance biodiversity in the Wakatipu Basin.

Community Nursery Helper
Help grow native plants and maintain a tidy nursery on Wednesday mornings. Additional opportunities available to assist in planting days in Spring and Autumn all around the Whakatipu basin.
Native Plant Maintenance
Native plant maintenance volunteer. Approx 2-3 hours per week in Arrowtown.
