WanderSearch is useful for any person with a condition (such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, brain injury and Down Syndrome) who has a risk of going missing and where other technologies are not suitable. The Safer Walking Framework is about supporting, educating and reducing the risk of people with cognitive impairment going missing.
Wandersearch devices are small, radio frequency emitting devices worn by people who are at risk of going missing. The devices ensure that if the person who is wearing the device does go missing they can be located by trained Land Search and Rescue Volunteers and the Police.

Administration
Volunteer South's office is closed from Friday 20th December until Monday January 6th. Many organisations listing roles online will also be taking a break. During this time your requests to connect will go through, however there may be some delay in you hearing from the organisations you select.
